Are you feeling overwhelmed? You are not alone. Living in the present moment means intentionally experiencing the world around us as it happens without thinking of the past or future. Everyday Coping Group is an educational group that focuses on teaching participants concepts, skills, and strategies they can use to help cope with everyday life. As a group we will practice being in tune with and paying attention to the present moment. By experiencing, feeling and seeing without judgement, and using our 5 senses this can help us learn to cope and accept everyday life as it is. Participants will learn new skills and strategies to utilize daily to better manage everyday stress and build self-awareness by focusing on the here and now.
The group takes place on Mondays from 6:00PM-7:00PM starting on April 17th and ending on May 8th. To sign up, call 519-506-4348.
