Clinic Manager Position @ Hanover Medical Associates
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Family Medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both business administration and human resources. Prior manager experience is required. This role is integral to the operations of the clinic and will call on excellent time management and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in technology and a solid understanding of business finance management is requested.
Duties
● Manage the daily operations of the clinic including personnel, equipment, and supplies
● Liaise between physician group and support staff, third party vendors, and Hanover Family Health Team
● Oversee staff and resolve any scheduling, workflow or personnel conflicts
● Oversee IT operations including acting as a champion of the electronic medical record
● On-board new staff and physicians, conduct staff training and continuing education
● Maintain records of clinic activities including staff performance, policies and procedures
● Track and present financial reports in collaboration with finance department
● Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and promote teamwork
● Ensure all ministry regulations are met Qualifications
● Proven experience in managing staff required
● Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems is an asset
● Experience in human resources management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
● Background in business finance an asset
